As independent coach Esmé has in-depth experience of one-on-one coaching in a client base which spans from blue-chips to newly listed companies and start-ups, across all industries. She describes herself as a challenging and demanding outcomes focused coach who makes the growth process fun through a good sense of humour. Her consuming passion for optimisation of executive talent, coupled with her understanding of the complexities of the new economy workplace assists her in helping to grow leaders with high and sustainable impact.

With in excess of 5 000 billed coaching hours, she is highly rated by her clients in respect of the appropriateness of coaching agendas, her relationship with them, and the impact of the coaching. Grounded by 20 years of corporate experience in the Financial Services Industry, including Absa (Group, Corporate and Commercial) and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) her specific talents and skills were honed through exposure such as CEO successor assessments and Senior Executive placements and coaching; crafting Talent and Performance Management and Recruitment & Selection approaches; establishing Change Enablement and Organisational Architecture functions at Group level; being the HR team lead for the Absa/Barclays integration team, pre-and post merger, and being part of the Absa People Management Exco.
